About Gidget

Hello all,

My Name is Ashlee Nichole, but you may call me Gidget. I am a senior at The University of Texas here in the capitol of the great Lone Star State.  I love Austin with all my heart and vow to keep its weird ambiance inside of me wherever I may roam.

I am currently in a Public Relations course focusing on PR in the Entertainment Industry.  Let me just say I am thrilled.

My blog is a class assignment given to master the art (or science, I am not really sure) of blogging. I would have liked to conceal this from the public and let my readers believe I am simply driven to provide breaking entertainment news. However, for the assignment I am required to give myself away, so there you have it.

To understand my blog you must be a lover of popular music, as am I.  My preference being rock of all kinds: indie, ambient, electro, punk, new wave, metal, classic, hardcore, you get the picture.  My  blog is for anyone drawn to music news from a publicists perspective.
